Fire At Century Village Not Really A Fire.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue rushed to Fanshaw C in Century Village in West Boca Raton Thursday afternoon for the report of smoke, flames and an electrical fire.

But sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that there was no fire. Someone in the senior citizen community put their oven in “self-clean” mode. That led to a smell of smoke which led someone to trigger a fire alarm which led to an evacuation.

No one was injured as residents rushed out of the three story building. The oven, however, is now dead. It was pulled from the unit and apparently hosed down outside.
