BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Boynton Beach Police Department Friday morning arrested Bryan Beska of Maple Wood Drive in West Boca following an alleged attack in February of 2021.
Using DNA, police say they believe Beska struck someone over the head with a “blunt object” in the parking lot of the Best Buy at Boynton Beach Town Center. The victim then grabbed the suspect and managed to slam his head on a car before the suspect fled.
Boynton Beach Police Crime Scene Investigators took DNA from the car and ultimately matched it to Bryan Beska. Working with the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, Beska was taken into custody at 17756 Maple Wood Drive Friday morning. He is now being held.
The arrest photo seen above is from an arrest in 2020. Delray Beach Police charged him at that time with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated battery on a person 65 years of age or older. The charges were ultimately not pursued by prosecutors.
He is now charged with attempted robbery with a weapon and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
