DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach bagel shop was cited by a health inspector from Florida’s Department of Business and Profesional Regulation who recorded three “high priority violations,” one “intermediate” violation, and two “basic” violations during the February 23rd review.
Bagel Twins, at 5130 Linton Boulevard, was not required to close.

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. French toast 64°F, nova 61°F, sliced tomatoes 60°F, cheese 60°F, corned beef hash 50°F in flip top cooler at cook line. Cook stated cooler was filled less than 2 hours ago. Ambient temperature in cooler 55°F. All items were put on ice and placed in 2 door reach-in cooler. Asiago cheese bagel 50°F, for less than 2 hours on front counter next to cash register., operator placed in refrigerator **Corrective Action Taken** **Warning**

High Priority – Dishmachine chlorine sanitizer not at proper minimum strength. Discontinue use of dish machine for sanitizing and set up manual sanitization until dish machine is repaired and sanitizing properly 0ppm. Container empty. Operator changed container 0ppm. Intermediate – No chlorine and QAC chemical test kit provided when using sanitizer at three-compartment sink/ware washing machine or wiping cloths. **Warning**

Bagel Twins was reinspected the following day and NO violations were recorded.
