BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A company renting space at 176 East Boca Raton Road is being sued. The owners of the property want the tenant evicted and forced to pay back rent — totaling more than $147,000, according to a suit just filed in Palm Beach County.
The name of the company renting the facility is “CGC Body For Life, LLC” which is registered in Delaware. The company operating out of the unit currently is “Elite Rejuvenation.” Elite Rejuvenation is registered to Christian McKeon who was indicted in May. The United States Department of Justice alleges McKeon and two others defrauded Medicare to the tune of $46M. We reported on the indictment on May 3rd, 2021. It’s unclear how — or if– McKeon is connected to CGC Body For Life. There are no records showing that CGC subleased the property to another company.
According to the lawsuit, East Boca LLC which owns the property, leased it to CGC Body For Life in January of 2019. When the owner told CGC to pay all back rent in February of 2022, CGC apparently failed to respond.
“Despite the demand therefore, Defendants have failed and refused to either pay Plaintiff, or deliver possession of the premises pursuant to the Notice.”
CGC now owes the property owner $147,170.76.
