BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is adamant about not letting the horror scenes from Miami Beach play out in PBC. As Miami Beach institutes a “State of Emergency” to stop Spring Break reveling, PBSO is stopping problems before they start.
From March 14th through March 20th, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports that its ongoing Spring Break Traffic Enforcement Operation led to 638 traffic citations, 70 criminal citations, 201 traffic warnings, and 4 misdemeanor arrests.
“The objective of this operation is to enforce excessive speed, loud mufflers, careless and reckless driving and racing laws, as well as, to deter the continued use of roadways within Palm Beach County for unlawful traffic activity and to reduce vehicle homicides,” said PBSO in an official statement to BocaNewsNow.com.
The enforcement operations continue.
