DELRAY BEACH, FL ( (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The man we reported as the subject of a search yesterday in West Delray Beach has been found dead.

Frank Miles was last seen on Sunday when police say that he “crashed his vehicle into a gate at West Delray Regional Park at 3:41 pm.  Frank abandoned his vehicle at the RC airplane field and fled into the adjacent wooded area.  He was seen a short time later acting erratic and dove into the adjacent lake.  Frank was seen going underwater but not observed resurfacing.”

His body was found Wednesday morning.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, investigators conducted a search in the wooded area Tuesday and again today and did not locate Frank Miles.  This morning PBSO Marine Unit dive team searched the small lake adjacent to the airfield and located Frank Miles deceased in 18 feet of water.
