BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A crash around 7:30 this morning outside the fire station on 441 near Spanish Isles Blvd. has closed 441.

BocaNewsNow.com has learned two cars and a tractor trailer are involved in the crash. There were no serious injuries reported in the wreck, but the tractor trailer has apparently lost roughly 30 gallons of oil. That may not sound like a lot, but requires the Florida Department of Environmental Management to respond, a HazMat team to clean up the oil, and possibly others to determine the impact on the environment.

It’s unclear how long 441 will be closed, or what detours are immediately in effect. We advise moving north and south on Lyons Road — just a bit to the east of 441 — until the situation is resolved.
