Connecticut Man Killed In Boca Raton Motorcycle Crash

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Waterbury, Connecticut resident Dale Bard was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in West Boca Raton.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Bard was traveling southbound on State Road 7/US 441 within the left turn lane to turn left into the Sandalfoot Square Plaza. He was riding a Harley Davidson Street Glide. Another vehicle was traveling northbound in the inside lane approaching the entrance to the Sandalfoot Square Plaza. As the second vehicle near Bard on the motorcycle, Bard made a left turn into the path of the Ford Econoline. The front of the Econoline struck Bard.

Bard, according to investigators, was ejected off of his motorcycle and struck the raised median.

Bard, 57, was pronounced dead on the scene.
