Four “High Priority” Violations During Early April Inspection.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It was not ordered to close, but an inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation was so concerned about what was allegedly found at the Original Pancake House at 8903 Glades Road that an almost immediate follow-up inspection was ordered.

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed delivery of individual creamers 47°F (labeled refrigeration required) stored in a non working cooler. Manager states they were received this morning 2 hours ago. Manager relocated to the walk-in cooler. Ham (47°F – Cold Holding),turkey 47°F, cheese 47°F, In prep cooler manager stated for less than 3 hours. Ambient temperature in cooler 47°F Manager placed all items on ice. Service technician worked on cooler during inspection. **Corrective Action Taken** **Warning**
High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food reheated for hot holding not reaching 165 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds within 2 hours. A follow-up inspection later the day on April 4th yielded no violations. The original pancake house was never ordered to close as a result of the initial inspection.
