DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Daniel McBride, 22, of Barcelona Lake Circle in Delray Beach is dead following a one-car crash.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says McBride was traveling northbound in a Honda Accord in the inside lane approaching the intersection of Oriole Boulevard around 8:32 p.m. on April 26th. “For unknown reasons,” according to police, “the vehicle drove up onto the median. The front of the vehicle impacted a traffic sign, then a tree in the median.”
Investigators say McBride was declared brain dead and removed from life support on April 30th, 2022. He died as a result of the crash.
PBSO says alcohol and/or drugs may have been a factor in the incident and continue to investigate. The Barcelona Lake Circle address is in the community of Valencia Falls.
