BOCA RATON, FL ( (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We just don’t know why people believe that it’s okay to bring a dog into a restaurant, but thanks to a reader and contributor to our “Boca Rudeton” section, we know that it happened today at Starbucks in West Boca Raton.

According to our tipster, this customer brought the dog into Starbucks at 9704 Clint Moore Road this morning and just sat there. And sat there. And sat there. And then sat there some more. The customer and the dog remained inside despite several open seats outside, we’re told. We also learned that Starbucks workers did nothing.

Lady with dog in Starbucks despite lots of empty seats outside — where dogs belong — you are today’s Boca Rudeton™ winner. We don’t know why bringing your pooch into a food serving establishment is fine, but we’re thrilled that a reader captured it and sent it to us because, you know, it’s not.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your Boca Rudeton tips to us through the form below.
