BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — What is now Tropical Storm Alex apparently didn’t leave the area unscathed.

The bike path on T-Rex Trail, just north of Spanish River Boulevard, is washed out. It will take several weeks for repairs.

The City of Boca Raton provided a photo that is really notable. It appears a huge part of the path is just gone. While potentially exciting for BMX fans, it’s a Fire-Rescue call for pretty much anyone else. We encourage you to stay away from the area.

A map of the affected path is below.
