BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man thought he was calling police for help, but ended up in jail himself after a woman — who poured milk on the man — accused him of initiating a violent dispute.

Aron Fried, 71, of Glendale Drive in Boca Raton is charged with domestic battery. According to a report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Fried called the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday to report that a woman in his home “poured milk on him and punched him in the face. Aron stated that she was ‘acting crazy’ but could not elaborate further.”

PBSO Deputies arrived on the scene. The woman apparently told police that she and Aron were in a “verbal altercation” that started while she was baking. According to the woman, “Aron became frustrated with the lint build-up in the lint trap from the dryer. Aron then hit the woman over the right shoulder with the lint trap breaking it and leaving an abrasion across her right shoulder. The women then poured milk over his head as her instinct reaction.”

The police report adds that Aron, “grabbed (the alleged victim’s) left bicep, pulling her hard enough to cause redness. She then struck Aron in the face to get him to release her.”

Aron Fried was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around 2 a.m. Friday. He was released just after 2 p.m. on his own recognizance. A court date is pending.
