BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s better but still not great at airports nationwide — and in South Florida — as the post-holiday travel day gets underway. FlightAware.com reports 514 delays within, into, or out of the United States as of 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, with 117 cancelations logged so far.

In Fort Lauderdale, FlightAware.com reports two Delta delays and four Southwest delays as of 7 a.m. There are no cancelations yet recorded out of — or into — Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.

At PBI, American Airlines, Delta, and United have each posted one delay, but there are no canceled flights as of 7 a.m.

At MIA, American Airlines has posted six delays, Envoy three delays, Delta two delays, Southwest two delays, while Air Canada, Iberia, TAP Air Portugal all reporting one delay. MIA has logged no cancelations as of 7 a.m.

We will update throughout the day. Check with your airline before heading to the airport.
