HUGE BRUSH FIRE: Train Traffic Stopped In Deerfield Beach

UPDATE at 6:01 p.m. Saturday: We just checked Tri-Rail’s online information center and it appears trains are still delayed.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL ( (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) 4:13 PM — There is a huge brush fire burning Saturday afternoon near the train tracks in Deerfield Beach. The situation is so serious — according to fire personnel reporting to — that all Tri-Rail traffic has been stopped just south of Boca Raton.

Brightline, which operates on different tracks in Broward and Palm Beach County, continues to run on schedule.

The address of the fire is in the 700 block of NW 45th Street in Deerfield Beach. A Tri-Rail train in the area has been stopped at an area station. It’s unclear if passengers are being told to disembark.
