BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Police in Broward County are searching for the killer of man in a parking lot in Deerfield Beach. It is the second violent crime in Deerfield in just days.
Broward Sheriff’s Office Advisory:
A man is dead after being shot multiple times in a Deerfield Beach parking lot.
According to Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives, the crime occurred shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, near the 500 block of Northwest 42nd Court in Deerfield Beach. The preliminary investigation revealed BSO deputies were dispatched to the location after Broward Regional Communications received a call about shots fired in the area.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located the victim, Billy Alceus, in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Alceus was transported to a local hospital by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue and pronounced deceased.
