DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Gerald Fitzgerald is the latest Kings Point Delray Beach resident to trade the cozy confines of his 850 square foot unit for the almost always closed bars in the Palm Beach County Jail.

Fitzgerald, 63, was arrested by the Delray Beach Police Department in the 300 block of SW 11th Avenue in Delray Beach very early Saturday morning. It was not immediately clear what led to police interaction, but officers state that they found cocaine in Fitzgerald’s possession at 1 a.m.

Gerald Fitzgerald was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 1:40 Saturday morning and remains held on $3,000 bond as of 7:15 a.m. The official charge is listed as ”cocaine possession — possess cocaine.”

Kings Point continues to be a hotbed of arrests and police activity. Over the past several months, one man shot another over dog walking, another man assaulted a neighbor, there was an indecent material arrest, and the list goes on. Read our Kings Point coverage here.
