UPDATE: Kings Point Boil Water Advisory Continues

Delray Beach Florida News Palm Beach County

DELRAY BEACH, FL ( (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County officials tell that the ”boil water advisory” continues for roughly 100 residents of Kings Point in Delray Beach. The advisory was issued following a sink hole and water main break in the community on Saturday.

After Palm Beach County issued a somewhat inconclusive alert on Saturday, received several calls and emails from readers asking who specifically was affected. The question was excellent. We posed it to Palm Beach County which told us that those who are affected know who they are, but also confirming that the situation won’t be resolved until at least Monday.

”The area has been filled and a preliminary assessment for restoration will begin tomorrow morning,” wrote an official.  “A boil water notice is still in effect for approximately 100 residents in the Kings Point community. Those affected will be informed as soon as this notice is lifted. Residents with questions regarding the boil water notice can reach out to our customer service line at 561-740-4600.”
