UPDATE: 8:54 a.m. — The location has been updated to the area of Currie Commons Park in east Delray Beach. That is Southeast 8th Street and Southeast First Avenue.

The incident is in the area of Linton Blvd. and the train tracks. The incident was dispatched at 8:47 a.m. Expect significant traffic issues in the area for the next several hours.

If confirmed as a Brightline train, it is the latest problem for the company that continues to face issues with trains striking pedestrians and vehicles at crossings alongs Florida’s southeast coast.
