DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another resident of senior living community Kings Point in Delray Beach is enjoying something later in life that they didn’t have earlier: a record.

Waynen Wilde is the latest Kings Point resident to spend time in the Palm Beach County Jail. The 75-year-old from the 200 building of Capri F was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office early Wednesday on a charge of “battery on a person 65 years of age or older.”

It was not immediately clear who he allegedly battered or his relationship tot hat person, if any. Wilde spent several hours in jail before being released on his own recognizance just after 6:30 p.m.

Wilde joins other Kings Point residents who have been arrested on a variety of charges over the past several months, including child porn possession, DUI, battery, weapons charges, drug possession, shoplifting, and more.
