BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A reminder for parents and students in the Palm Beach County School District: all schools are closed on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
Many schools serve as polling places on Election Day. For security reasons, school district officials do not want voters anywhere near children on what would otherwise be a closed campus. That means all schools in the district will be closed.
Polling places open at 7 a.m. countywide on Tuesday and remain open until 7 p.m. If you are in line at closing time, you will still be permitted to vote.
