UPDATE 2:10 p.m: We are not republishing the police report due to the number of juveniles involved — and redactions that make the Mar-A-Lago affidavit look like a complete novel — but we have learned that this was a dispute that started at Town Center Mall. The dispute spilled over to an Uber ride which apparently led to the shooting in the area of 400 SW 8th Street in Boca Raton. This was NOT drug related. There is NO other documentation of gun activity in the area according to police.
UPDATE 10:20 a.m: Law enforcement sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that this was not drug related, but an issue among several juveniles that led to a shooting. The victim, not identified, is expected to survive.
