DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Delray Beach Doctor Gerard Dariano is back in the Palm Beach County Jail Wednesday after being arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Dr. Dariano allegedly violated a domestic violence protection injunction issued several weeks ago. He was arrested early this morning and booked into jail at 5:12 a.m.

While we are awaiting details of Wednesday’s arrest, we reported the following from a police narrative obtained on August 20th: “

The following is the narrative of Dr. D’Ariano’s arrest as filed by the Delray Beach Police Department: “The victim stated that she be been (dating) Gerard D’Ariano. She advised that she came over to D’Ariano’s house at 505 NW 1st Avenue and an argument ensued. She said D’Ariano was upset over a text message that she saw on her phone. D’Ariano grew angry, smashed her iPhone 13 to the ground, and a physical altercation ensued. She said D’Ariano punched her approximately four times and she sustained bruises on shoulders as a result of D’Ariano hitting her with his fist. D’Ariano then grabbed a dumbbell and smashed both side-view mirrors of her 2017 Porsche that was parked in the driveway. She stated that she then drove home and called 9-1-1.”

“I (the police officer) responded to 505 NW 1st Avenue and contacted D’Ariano and he admitted to pushing (the woman) several times onto the bed. D’Ariano also admitted to smashing (her) cellphone and her side-view mirrors. D’Ariona said he was upset because he saw a text on (her) cellphone and she refused to call the male subject who texted her in front of him.”

Dr. D’Ariano is a spine surgeon who is frequently seen at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
