UPDATE AT 11:16 a.m. — Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that the woman, eight months pregnant, was wearing a seatbelt as her vehicle impacted a tree in Boca Bridges.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — DEVELOPING AT 10:53 a.m. — A pregnant woman injured in a crash in the community of Boca Bridges is being airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
The one-car crash occurred in the area of Espresso Manor and Sauvignon Parkway which is in the new community. It was not immediately clear what specifically happened.
The victim, identified to BocaNewsNow.com as a pregnant woman, is being rushed to West Boca High School where a Trauma Hawk Helicopter will use the field as a landing zone. The woman will then be transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center which is considered the regional “expert” facility for trauma involving pregnancies.
