There will be NO trash collection, no schools, all courts are closed, all county offices are closed, all PalmTran Operations will be ceased until the storm passes.
Palm Beach County Officials made the announcement during a media conference on Tuesday afternoon. The Emergency Operations Center will start running at “Level Two” later today or early Wednesday morning.
Heavy rain and wind will likely make travel challenging in Palm Beach County as Ian approaches. Palm Beach County will make further announcements as the system nears and hits the region.
