BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 12-year-old girl is missing from North Broward County and police are now asking for help. This is the statement issued by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Thursday night:
The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help to locate a 12-year-old girl missing from Pompano Beach.
Emma Bleidt was last seen at approximately 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, at Cypress Run Alternative School located at 2800 N.W. 30th Avenue in Pompano Beach. She is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. Bleidt has reddish blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing khaki pants, a white sweater with the number “21” on it and black, blue and white Nike shoes.
According to detectives, Bleidt is believed to be in the city of Lauderhill. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact BSO Detective Chris Blakenship at 954-321-4268 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
