BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Chili’s Restuarant location at 21769 South State Road 7 in West Boca Raton was cited for multiple violations by a Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Inspector. The violations, logged on October 31st, were largely cleared the following day. Except for an unclean cutting board issue.

High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. griddle make table – American cheese (61F – Cold Holding); pepperjack cheese (54F – Cold Holding); shredded cheese (54F – Cold Holding); black bean mash (54F – Cold Holding); nacho make table – portioned ranch dressing (55F – Cold Holding); blue cheese (53F – Cold Holding); cooked corn (51F – Cold Holding); cooked black beans (55F – Cold Holding) all TCS foods not portioned or prepared today held under 4 hours – operator moved to walk in cooler. **Corrective Action Taken** **Warning**

Intermediate – Ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared onsite and held more than 24 hours not properly date marked. Walk in cooler – ranch dressing container prepared over 24 hour – operator date marked. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**

Basic – In-use utensil not stored with handle above the top of time/temperature control for safety food and rim of the container. Soufflé cup in sour cream container – operated removed. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**

Basic – Cutting board has cut marks and is no longer cleanable. Several cutting boards on hot line. **Warning**

The restaurant was reinspected on November 1st when the following item was logged.

Despite the cutting board issue, the FL DBPR Inspector declared that the Chili’s location met inspection standards during the follow-up visit.
