BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s going to be a largely rainy week in and around South Palm Beach County, as the gods of South Florida play a cruel prank on northeastern visitors expecting sun and fun for their Thanksgiving week away.
The National Weather Service says showers and thunderstorms are likely through Sunday with a high of 78 and an overnight low of 73.
Monday brings another chance of thunderstorms all day with a high of 79. When it’s not raining, enjoy a breezy day with winds out of the east at 14 to 16 miles per hour, gusting up to 21 mph. Expect up to a quarter of an inch of rain Monday and Monday night. The low will be around 74.
Tuesday and Wednesday will each bring a chance of thunderstorms with daytime highs in the low 80s and nighttime lives in the low 70s.
Thanksgiving day should be better, with an expected high of 82 and no rain — for now — in the forecast.
