BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman was robbed at gunpoint at a Truist Bank ATM in East Boca Raton. The robbery happened on Saturday.
The Boca Raton Police Department issued this advisory late Sunday afternoon:

On Saturday, December 31, 2022 at approximately 3:10 pm, the victims pulled up to the drive-thru ATM at Truist Bank, 701 N. Federal Hwy. The driver pulled into the exit lane and the female victim exited the driver side door and withdrew cash from the ATM. A newer model gray SUV (unknown make and model) pulled into the bank blocking the exit. Two males, medium builds, each with a firearm approached the female victim at the ATM and the male victim in the passenger side of the vehicle and took the cash. The suspects also took the two victims watches, phones, jewelry, and the vehicles key fob. The suspects then got back into the SUV and fled southbound on Dixie Hwy.
The suspects were described as two black males wearing hoodies, masks, white shirts, and dark pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. George Reilly at 561-620-6067.
ATM Safety Tips:
Be aware of your surroundings, particularly at night. If you observe or sense suspicious persons or circumstances, do not use the machine at that time. Have your ATM card ready and in your hand as you approach the ATM. Don’t wait to get to the ATM and then take your card out of your wallet or purse.
