DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and Delray Beach rescuers responded to the report of a double stabbing in Kings Point mid-day Sunday, but ultimately determined that just one person was wounded.
The wounds, according to sources familiar with the emergency response, were largely superficial.
The emergency response, which was first called in by the injured man’s brother around 11:45, generated a large number of medics and police as agencies attempted to determine what was happening and how many people were involved. After staging outside the Flanders Buildings in Kings Point, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office entered the unit and determined just one person was suffering from injuries.
Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that the injuries were not life threatening. It was not immediately clear if this was ultimately considered a criminal — or mental health — issue.
