UPDATE @ 7:48 p.m. — Boynton Beach Police just provided BocaNewsNow.com with the following statement: “The Boynton Beach Police Department has taken three suspects into custody after a car chase that led them to Boca Raton. The suspects were occupying a black BMW that was reportedly used earlier today, in numerous armed robberies of federal postal employees. The armed robberies occurred in both Palm Beach and Broward County.”

“Boynton Beach Police Officers located the BMW in Boynton Beach, just after 4:30 P.M. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however, the vehicle fled, leading the officer on a car chase that ended in the parking lot of 1776 N. Military Trail in Boca Raton. All three suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to flee. After a brief foot pursuit, all suspects were apprehended by Boynton Beach Police Officers. The suspects have been turned over to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for charging and processing.”

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A chase that started in the jurisdiction of Boynton Beach ended in the City of Boca Raton when two suspects wanted for various, undisclosed crimes in Boynton ditched their car in the area of McDonald’s at Boca Center.

The suspects were arrested with the assistance of Boca Raton Police, according to sources within the police department.

BocaNewsNow.com has learned that the chase started in the City of Boca Raton during the 4 p.m. hour. Cops chased the suspects to the City of Boca Raton where Boca Raton PD was waiting to take action. Officers from several agencies, according to those with knowledge of the situation, quickly apprehended the two suspects and placed them under arrest.

We are awaiting an update from Boynton Beach Police. The scene is still active as of 5 p.m. in the area of McDonald’s at Boca Center.
