REMINDER: If We Reported Your Arrest And Your Case Was Dismissed, Let Us Know

BOCA RATON, FL ( (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A quick reminder on this Saturday about the editorial policy. We like to publish this reminder every quarter although it does live permanently online in our “About” section. reports crime news, arrests, and other newsworthy events that involve law enforcement. You may not like our reporting. You may not like seeing your arrest report or booking photo online. That does not make the reporting wrong. Our crime reports are based on information provided directly from the police, prosecutors, and public databases maintained by cities, counties, states, and the federal government.

You can not pay to have mugshots or arrest reports removed from Your arrest is public record. You would not want to live in a society where arrests are secret. As a matter of policy, we do not remove reports on active criminal or civil cases. We do not accept advertising from anyone within 90 days of an arrest.

While the best way to ensure that you are not the subject of our criminal reporting is to make sure you do not do something that leads to your arrest, we appreciate that police occasionally overreach. We are happy to work with you, when appropriate.

If you have been found innocent, not guilty, if your arrest has been expunged, or if charges have been dropped (nollo prose) and would like us to consider the removal of an article, please use the form, below. Removal is at the sole discretion of MetroDesk Media, LLC. Please note that an “order to expunge” does not apply to news media — but we do use it as a guide.

The form, below, is the fastest way to help us to help you, but you may also call or text 561-576-NEWS.
