UPDATE: Traffic is still very slow in the area as of 5:22 p.m.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A multi-car crash on the Florida Turnpike in the area of Glades Road is causing traffic delays just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
The crash, in the northbound lanes, does not appear to be serious. However, the location — directly on top of Glades Road — is causing backups on the Turnpike. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is on the scene.
BocaNewsNow.com has learned that two cars are involved. Traffic, predictably, is slow south of the incident. The Turnpike is NOT closed as of 4:55 p.m., however, it is crawling as it approaches the scene. It was not immediately clear how backed-up traffic is.
Fire Rescue was first dispatched to the scene around 4:35 p.m. No serious injuries were immediately reported.
