UPDATE at 8:59 a.m. — Delray Beach Police sources tell us that one person was killed and four people were rushed to area hospitals. The intersection is expected to be closed for hours.
DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A firey crash early this morning in Delray Beach is apparently fatal, according to BocaNewsNow.com sources.
The crash at Atlantic Avenue and Military Trail was reported around 5:30 a.m. It was reported as a crash with fire and resulted in a major response.
On the scene, rescuers apparently determined that a victim had died in the crash. We have no information about the identity, age, or sex of the victim. Other injuries were not immediately clear.
Expect the intersection to be closed, or at the very least slowed, throughout the morning. The investigation continues.
