DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another resident of the senior living community of Kings Point Delray Beach has been arrested and jailed — bringing the Kings Point Arrest Count (KPAC) to six in 2023. The latest arrest puts the community on track to meet — or beat — its 2022 record of 23 arrests.

Vincent Avallone, notably 40 years old — significantly younger than the traditional senior living community resident — is charged with grand theft of a vehicle. It was not immediately clear where the theft allegedly occurred, or why police believe that Avallone is responsible.

Avallone was arrested mid-day Friday and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around just before 7 p.m. He was released on $3,000 bond just after midnight on Saturday. City of Boca Raton police made the arrest. He lives in the Burgundy section of Kings Point.

Avallone joins other Kings Point residents who have recently spent time behind bars, including: alleged sex offenders, alleged drunk drivers, alleged drug users, alleged batterers, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, and others. The first Kings Point arrest of 2023 was a man accused of selling cocaine. The second arrest in 2023 was a battery charge. The third, a violation of a conditional release for what appeared to be a drug issue, the fourth was a woman charged with resisting an officer, and the fifth: a woman charged with battery.
