The intersection of I-95 and Glades Road will be completely closed as work on the massive project is completed. The good news: the Diverging Diamond will be completely operational once the closure is lifted. This is the official reminder from the Florida Department of Transportation:
Full Closure Advanced Notice: The SR-9/I-95 northbound entrance ramp from westbound SR-808/Glades Road will be closed for implementation of the final configuration of the Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI), 11 p.m., Friday, March 24 through 5 a.m., Monday, March 27. Traffic will be detoured via Airport Road and Spanish River Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. The weekend of March 31 to April 3 will be used as contingency if needed.
