UPDATE: 10:04 a.m. — A gas leak was detected by fire rescue and is being resolved. There was NO evacuation, according to a Palm Beach County School District spokesperson.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Don’t panic if you see a huge contingent of fire professionals and police in the area of Olympic Heights High School near Lyons Road and Glades Road.
A cafeteria worker thought she smelled gas and called the fire department as a precaution. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is on the scene as of 9 a.m.
A spokesperson with the Palm Beach County School District says there does not appear to be a leak and there have been no evacuations.
