BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Pompano beach man is dead following a one-car crash on Quiet Waters Park Drive in Deerfield Beach.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that William Pastoria, 54, apparently lost control of his 1999 Chevrolet Blazer as he drove north on the road which is in Quiet Waters Park.

“The Blazer left the northbound lane and drifted across the southbound lane while rotating counterclockwise,” said BSO. “The passenger side tires of the vehicle furrowed into the grass on the west side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll onto its passenger side.”

Pastroia, according to investigators, was unrestrained and was “subsequently ejected through the open passenger side window.” He was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday evening. The investigation continues.
