BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad is in Montoya Estates as of 4 p.m. Sunday. The area is locked down.

According to sources at the scene, a suspicious package was found near or in a home within the community which is south of Palmetto Park Road and west of Powerline Road.

The official address is in the 22000 block of Primrose Road which is in the Thornhill Green subsection.

Police were first called to the scene around 3 p.m., according to dispatch records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com. The bomb squad was dispatched minutes later. There are no reports of injuries and it is unclear whether the packages truly poses a threat.
