BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Prepare for hail. That’s the warning Monday morning from the National Weather Service for Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and all of South Florida.
Forecasters say hail is possible during the day. “A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm,” accoridng to NWS forecasters. “Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Increasing clouds, with a high near 83. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.”
Rain and thunderstorms are possible Monday night. On Tuesday, the rain and thunderstorm chance continues — but there will be sun, as well. Expect a high around 83.
On Wednesday, rain and sun remain in the forecast, with a high in the low 80s. The rain chance on Wednesday is 50-percent.
