Work Near The Boca Raton Diverging Diamond Continues.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Diverging Diamond may officially be “complete,” but the work on Glades Road continues. Expect several Glades Road closures this week.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the following Glades Road closures and slowdowns are expected over the next several days:
The SR-808/Glades Road and I-95 interchange is in a new Diverging Diamond configuration. Please use caution as you approach the interchange – the posted speed is 35 MPH. Keep the crossover intersections clear like you would on any other roadway.
One eastbound and westbound lane of the DDI will be closed, as needed, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for grading and sod placement.
Westbound Glades Road, between St. Andrews Blvd and University Drive/FAU Blvd, will have one lane closed daily, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Eastbound Glades Road, between St. Andrews Boulevard and University Drive/FAU Blvd, will have one lane closed daily, 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
FDOT also reminds motorists that the speed limit through the Diverging Diamond is 35 m.p.h. Police are said to be monitoring speed and issuing tickets as needed.
