BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Someone attempting to have an animal free meal at Cafe La Boulangerie at Boca Raton Town Center Mall mid-day Saturday was frustrated that other diners — and seemingly the restaurant — violated federal law by allowing pets inside.
The women you see at the table have a furry companion resting on the floor. That companion doesn’t appear to be a trained service animal. If it’s not, it’s not allowed in a restaurant per the Food and Drug Administration. Apparently, the restaurant doesn’t care — and won’t care — until it’s cited by either the the Florida Dept. of Business and Professional Regulation, or the federal government itself.
We’ll let the feds deal with the citations. But BocaNewsNow.com is in the unique position of bestowing a nomination for our highly coveted Boca Rudeton award — and we’re doing just that!
Ladies with a fuzzy dog that should seemingly not be in a restaurant for humans: you are our Boca Rudeton nominees for this Saturday! Congratulations! Since you brought your dog to a restaurant that would like to be known for French coffee, we offer you coffee with a latte fur inside! (See what we did there?!)
We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the form, below.
