Many South Palm Beach County Residents, Visitors Sick Of Dogs In Stores, Restaurants, and Drivers Who Can’t Park.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Dogs in Publix, a dog siting at a restaurant table like it’s a human, and a person who apparently can’t park a Kia. Welcome to Sunday’s nominations for Boca Rudeton — our exclusive award for people in South Palm Beach County who just can’t be respectful of others.
We start with a Kia that parked Sunday morning at Bagel City South on SW 18th Street in Boca Raton. According to our tipster, and documented by the photo, that Kia driver likes to straddle things. In the case, the line. The line that is meant to separate two parking spaces, not bring them together.

Our next nominee is a table of diners at Banana Boat in Boynton Beach. Tables are traditionally for humans, but on this day, it seems someone thought it was perfectly fine to have a dog on the table at the restaurant at 739 East Ocean Blvd.

The Publix at Boca Village Square is the scene of our next Boca Rudeton nominee. A woman with a dog that seems to provide no service value whatsoever. That means the woman is apparently violating not just Publix policy, but federal law. No word if the woman will face a citation or any other sort of criminal action.
To today’s nominees: living with yourselves is clearly prize enough, so we offer no other awards for your nomination into the Boca Rudeton hall of fame (or shame).
We remind our readers: it’s illegal to bring a dog into a restaurant or a supermarket, and it’s illegal to claim that dog is a “service” dog if it has not been specifically trained to provide a specific function OTHER than “emotional support.”
We also remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send us your Boca Rudeton submissions using the form below. Boca Rudeton™ is a trademark of MetroDesk Media, LLC.
