UPDATE: Three Killed In Boca Raton Crash, Identities Released

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There is new information regarding the crash that left three people dead Monday in the City of Boca Raton. According to police, the driver of a Porsche — Roy Morris of West Palm Beach — collided with a Kia sedan carrying three people. All occupants of the Kia were killed, including a 69-year-old male driver from Worthington, Ohio; a 73-year-old female passenger from Deerfield Beach; and a 74-year-old passenger from Ruidoso, New Mexico.

The Boca Raton Police Department just issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com:


“On Monday, May 8th, 2023, at 11:38 A.M., officers of the Boca Raton Police Services Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit investigated a fatal crash which occurred at the 500 block of S. Dixie Hwy.

A 2004 Porsche SUV was travelling north on Dixie Highway in the right travel lane. The driver of the Porsche collided with a 2020 Kia sedan that was turning south on Dixie Highway from SE 5th Street. Two of the occupants of the Kia were pronounced deceased at the scene and a third was transported to the Delay Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased.
