DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man was shot and killed Friday night in a community near Military Trail and Via Delray. The male’s identity was not immediately released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

PBSO tells BocaNewsNow.com that there is no threat to area communities. The agency issued this statement:


“At 9:35 pm, deputies responded to a shooting in the 5300 of Woodland Drive, unincorporated Delray Beach.  Upon arrival deputies located an adult male deceased from gunshot wound(s).  

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division have arrived on scene and are in the preliminary stages of this investigation.  All individuals involved in the shooting have been accounted for.  There is NO threat to the community.”
