BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A fire truck — yes, a fire truck — stolen from Miami-Dade County led police on a chase up the Florida Turnpike.
The chase ended just before 9 p.m. a little north of Boynton Beach Blvd. Police are on the scene. It’s not immediately clear what is developing.
Traffic on the northbound turnpike is slow or stopped in the area of the scene which appears to be close to the Lantana Toll Plaza — just north of the Boynton Beach Boulevard exit and on-ramp.
