One Man Dead, Two Injured In North Broward County Shootings.
BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — One man is dead and two others are injured following a shooting in Pompano Beach, anode the Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help finding the gunmen who remain on the loose Sunday morning.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m., on Friday, May 19, BSO district deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to a report of shots fired near the 600 block of Northwest 19th Street in Pompano Beach. On scene, deputies located two victims and immediately administered life-saving measures until Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived. Paramedics transported the two victims to a local hospital where one was later pronounced deceased. The third victim was brought to an area hospital by a private vehicle. Both remaining shooting victims sustained injuries that are not expected to be life threatening.
BSO’s Homicide Unit detectives were notified and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal shooting. Preliminary investigation revealed the victims were outside of a residence when they were shot by subjects in a dark, four-door vehicle.
