BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The problem with rude dog owners in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and South Palm Beach County continues as self-absorbed shoppers and diners continue to bring their pets into restaurants and supermarkets — in violation of federal law. Now, BocaNewsNow.com has learned that one major chain is preparing to issue a directive that managers are to call law enforcement if shoppers refuse to leave if they bring anything but a trained service animal in to a supermarket.
More on that in the weeks ahead. But for now, here is Sunday’s edition of Boca Rudeton™, dedicated this week to the people in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and South Palm Beach County who just can’t leave their dogs at home.

We start at Subculture in Mizner Park where the person in the photo above apparently felt it necessary to place a dog on a table — the very table where is food placed.
Next, we move on to Way Beyond Bagels Sunday morning where someone decided to bring a huge dog into the small restaurant. We note that Way Beyond Bagels has had some health inspector issues at its Delray Beach location, so we wonder why the restaurant and deli feels it’s okay to have a dog in its Boca Raton store, something that violates state and federal laws.
Then, at Publix in the Hidden Valley shopping center in East Boca Raton, these people apparently felt it was fine for a dog to walk around the store like humans. Which a dog is not.

Then there’s the case of the dog at Fresh Market in Boca Raton. As our tipster points out, the dog is at the perfect height to sniff peaches and other food and fruit placed on tables in the store. Nothing says “Fresh” like dog-sniffed produce.

And then there’s the dog in Aldi’s on Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach. Our tipster there wants to know not just why there’s a dog in the supermarket, but why the owner is drawing attention to herself in neon pink. We wonder, too.

We remind our readers: there’s no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send you submissions to us using the form, below. And we note: “I didn’t want to leave my dog in a hot car” isn’t a reason for bringing a dog into a store when leaving your dog at home solves that problem.
