BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An early Sunday morning crash on Miltary Trail in Boynton Beach left one man, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Joshua Field, of Waterway Drive in Lake Worth, died around 2:07 a.m.
According to PBSO, Field, 36, was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot when slammed into a metal utility pole. This is the official narrative provided to BocaNewsNow.com by investigators:
“Field was traveling northbound on Military Trail, in the northbound outside lane at a high rate of speed. Field’s Jeep drifted to the right, struck the east curb, and off the east side of the roadway. The Jeep then struck a metal utility pole with the front of Jeep. Field was ejected from the Jeep post-collision. The Jeep continued northbound and came to rest facing north, northeast of the utility pole. Field came to rest east of the Jeep.
Field was pronounced dead on the scene due to the injuries sustained during the collision. Next of Kin has been notified.”
