BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The area marked by the X on the National Hurricane Center map, above, is showing signs of development. But for now, it’s only an area of low pressure, and any development will likely be thwarted by other atmospheric conditions by the end of the week.
Even so, it’s a reminder that we are in the midst of hurricane season, and it’s never too early to prepare. While the yellow X will almost assured have no impact on South Florida whatsoever, it’s always the “what’s next” that should lead you to stock up on water, food that can be stored, and if you can store it safely, some extra gas for your car.
Here is the Tropical Weather Outlook for Monday, July 10th, 2023 from the National Hurricane Center.
